Caramel Apple Brownies

This decadent brownie recipe is actually a lot easier to make than it looks. And is guaranteed to be a big hit.

*Brownie Mix
*2- Apples Chopped
* Caramel dipping sauce
* Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Preheat your oven and mix the brownie mix according to the directions on the box.

Then, add your chopped apples to the brownie mix and pour into your prepared pan.

Next, swirl approx. 2 oz. of your caramel dipping sauce into the brownies and bake according to directions.

*Bake for approx. 5-6 minutes than specified on the box.

Allow the brownies to cool before frosting with the chocolate fudge frosting.

Creamy Crock Pot Potato Soup

*6 potatoes - peeled and diced
* 1 onion - chopped
* 1 carrot - sliced thinly
* 1 stalk of celery - sliced
* 5 chicken bullion cubes
*  1/3 cup butter
* 6 cups of water
* 1 tsp. of parsley
* 1.5 cups of milk or cream
* 1/3 cup of flour
* 1 oz. of grated cheddar cheese
* salt & pepper to taste

Add all ingredients (except for the milk and cheese) to the crock pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

The milk and cheese can be added during the last hour of cooking.


Homemade Chicken & Dumplings

  *  1 uncooked chicken breast - diced
  * 1 med sized onion - chopped
  * 2 qts. water
  * 2 carrots - diced
  * 1 celery stalk - diced
  * 1/2 tsp crushed sage
  * 1/2 tsp crushed thyme
  * 2 TBS. minced garlic
  * 4 chicken bullion cubes
  * Bisquick
  * Sea Salt
  * Ground pepper
 

1. Add your chicken herbs and spices (except the garlic) to the pot of boiling water.
 
2.  Allow the soup to boil for 20 minutes.
 
3. Chop the vegetables while the soup is boiling.
 
4.  After 20 minutes add your vegetables to the soup and boil for another 20 minutes.
 
5.  Mix your dumplings according the instructions on the box of bisquick.
 
6. Add the dumplings to your soup and cook for another 10 minutes.
 
7. Add your freshly diced garlic to the soup just before serving.
 
* Season to taste
